Technical Drawing Specifications

Measured building surveys are required for the redevelopment and future use planning of existing buildings, and to provide an historical record of national monuments. Fog City Drafting regularly carries measured building surveys and has developed automated procedures through the application of technologies such as laser scanners, reflector-less total stations and dedicated floor plan/elevation software running on ruggedized field computers.

Using these technologies data is plotted in real-time enabling quality checks to be applied immediately. With this approach reliable results can be produced very efficiently and quickly. We are currently evaluating the application of terrestrial laser scanning technology to measured building surveys.
